Each is a great way to start a new army or bolster an existing force quickly. In this first preview, we get a look at the one coming for the T'au. Whatever you want to call them, they're new and they're coming soon to Aeronautica Imperialis. They're new Aeldari craft. Have yourselves a look. Quite a mix next week from Games Workshop for their pre-orders.
There's a new box set for Age of Sigmar. There's some new minis for Warhammer Underworlds. They've got a new Aeronautica Imperialis companion book and some figures. And there's the next issue of White Dwarf.
As I say, lots going on. There's a pair of new codices available to pre-order from Games Workshop this week. The Adeptus Custodes and Genestealer Cults have been featured since the recent box set. Now, both factions are getting a full codex to go with them. But along with that is the new Age of Sigmar board game, Bladeborn.
The first codexes of have arrived hot on the heels of the great battle for Terra , along with a Warhammer Age of Sigmar-themed board game on retailer shelves, and a promotion to kickstart your New Year New Army project. I mean, that's the only way to start this post. Jaghatai Khan, the final Primarch in Games Workshop's line, now has his own mini and you can head over to Forge World and order him for yourself now. The final Primarch is here. The Warhawk himself strides forth, making his grand entrance after the rest of his brothers, as he does in the Horus Heresy series.
Despite this, his arrival shakes the pillars of heaven itself — check out every angle of this peerless warrior in the video below. The Genestealer Cults are getting a new codex this weekend. That includes the return of a classic figure to their lineup, the Primus. Get a preview of how this leader in the shadows will work out on the battlefield. Also, Primus sucks if you get it, you get it. Fighting to help throw off the shackles of oppression are the four-armed guerrillas of the Genestealer Cults.
He more than lives up to the whispered legends, having received a host of changes, including an extra pip of toughness, which should help when going up against hardy opponents such as the Adeptus Custodes Blade Champion. To be a janitor on Holy Terra, you need to be the best of the best of the best of the best. And that's what the Captain-Commanders are. Take a look at their upcoming rules for 40k in this preview of the Adeptus Custodes codex.
With new HQ options inbound , there are more ways than ever to lead your Talons of the Emperor in battle. On top of that, you can now upgrade a standard Shield-Captain model to be a Captain-Commander, granting them a host of new abilities that make them even more effective — if you can imagine that.
Each type of Shield-Captain has access to three unique abilities and you, as their commander, can simply pay the points to upgrade them and choose the one you like. This allows you to easily bend your leaders towards certain battlefield roles. The real problem with Genestealer cults is that they infiltrate all parts of society. So, when they lead their eventual uprising, it's not just random people with random weapons, entire military regiments can suddenly be taking over.
This is shown via the Brood Brother rules coming in the Genestealer Cult codex for 40k. Get a look at how they work in this preview. Known as Brood Brothers, the cult faithful who infest loyal Astra Militarum forces can uproot the entire chain of command when the order arrives, adding highly trained, better-equipped fighting forces to an uprising. Codex: Genestealer Cults arrives for pre-order this Saturday, along with updated rules for adding Brood Brothers to your army.
Need some expendable troops to claim an objective? A Brood Brothers squad is ideal. Want some more mobile firepower? Try the Scout Sentinel. It's usually the main-line soldiers where you end up having to repeat stuff. That can be kinda annoying, so having another version in there can be nice.
And that's just what we have with this month's exclusive miniature from Games Workshop. Head to your local GW store and pick up the new T'au mini and coin this month only. So who exactly will be joining you to celebrate another lap around the Sun? Just like how they're called Orruks now in Age of Sigmar, apparently, the Eldar are now the Aeldari in 40k. The faction may have been around forever, but they're not looking old with these new Guardian figures that are coming for them.
After all this time, Aeldari fans, the wait is over! New Aeldari Guardian miniatures are on the way!! That's what Games Workshop is wishing you as they've got a whole green tide of new pre-releases available for the Orks in their shop this week.
