I'd have to agree with these comments, if you live in a major city, I'd be looking at an auto, however they do tend to change up early to reduce your RPM and save fuel when in 'D'. If you were looking at something older like an early 1KZ series, I'd definitely look at a manual, it seems to suit the engine better than the old 4 sp auto, but then I'm a little bias on that one.

The new six speed is great with even syncro in reverse! Why manual?
